Our boutique stud is primarily located on the fertile blacksoil creek flats of Biloela, 1 hour west of Gladstone, and approx 1.5 hrs south west of Rockhampton, QLD. We breed a small, select number of foals each year, carefully selecting sire and dam to produce top quality offspring. Recently we have formed a solid partnership with Oritah Park Trakehners in Victoria, allowing some of the rarest bred trakehner mares in the country to be utilised by two breeder with similar goals. Already we have some outstanding progeny being produced!
Our motto is "Stylish Athletes" - we started breeding arabian derivatives in 1997 using Bremervale Arabians import, Valour El Marees (imp/exp). His delightful people loving temperament and fantastic movement won us over instantly, and the filly he presented us was no exception. The purchase of an anglo arabian mare in 1998, Googabilla Lodge Flash dance was the next step in furthering a dream. In 2004, we ventured into breeding arabian warmbloods of trakehner breeding with the use of the imported stallion, Falkensee (Imp Ger), owned by Wolffdene Trakehners.
The trakehner is one of the oldest and most unique warmblood studbook in the world. As riders, we appreciate the basic three T's; temperament, trainability and type. As a family we enjoy working with horses that are SAFE.
